Greetings Peter- Just a note to tell you how much I have enjoyed your music over the last 40 years. Major Tom is a song that transcends this dimension and now belongs in the collection of the songs of the universe. I’ve listened to it 1000 times. One time I got thrown out of a bar by the barkeeper for dancing on top of the patron booths while Major Tom was playing. I whirled from the top of one booth to another with utter joy, and he couldn’t catch me. Ah well, it was worth it. It is interesting that the German version of your songs always sounds a little more cohesive than the English version. The rhythm, lyrics and melody just fit together better. Maybe it’s because you created it in German in your head. Like other fans, I’ve watched you live your life in the spotlight and missed you when you were gone from the scene. I didn’t know what happened to you. I’ve learned about life from watching you walk your path . Thank you for that gift. Please come to the USA! Disneyland is still open!
